Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Hey guys! Guess what? I might be working the inauguration for Close Up after all! Woot!

I'm loving the obama pics. This is my fave family picture of the moment: [link]

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

We elected people. That's what it is. Real, honest-to-whatsis, living actual lives with each other people.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

*(The non-hip places being, of course, Skyline and Graeter's; in fact, the specific Skyline and Graeter's locations are in my old neighborhood, and ones that I've taken many a Buffista to.)

I believe I managed three 5-ways in four days.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

“Not dead yet!”

Well, hell. Lewis just inadvertently broke a piece of our stoneware. The bitch of it is that it was an unusual piece to start with and the pattern's no longer made.

I'm almost afraid to look on Replacements.com

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

why is filling out financial forms so stressful? It makes me want to cry and I have bitten my nails down to nothing. I do. not. get. it. All it is is finding information (granted not always the least frustrating things given my files) and putting it on the paper. No formulas, no gauntlet to run.

I hate financial anything, as you well know.

I'm done for the day. Except I can't pick up the cat until a little after six, so it makes no sense to go home.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which reminds me I have a financial form to fill out. Damned provocateuse and me being honest on my tax return. Well, not that I would know how to cheat them, but still.
