This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which reminds me I have a financial form to fill out. Damned provocateuse and me being honest on my tax return. Well, not that I would know how to cheat them, but still.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am doing net worth. which is to laugh. and my monthly expenses estimation is clearly low.

I think I need to do a month of tracking daily spending again. Making me look at things right now I see I am in a cashflow problem at the moment and I am pretty sure is it $5 here and there that is screwing things up.

Thrive to spite them

California stadium rockers Journey have reached an unlikely milestone in popular song: their power ballad Don't Stop Believin' has become the biggest-ever catalogue song on digital platforms.

I'm not that surprised, Journey has its own sim in Second Life. A Sim is a dedicated land mass.

I checked and you can't buy the songs there and there's no link to iTunes but it might have something to do with.

Plus it's a great song.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The photo of Obama and Tammy Duckworth hugging gave me allergies....

She's on the shortlist for his seat - I'm really pulling for her.

Hey--what sort of solitaire is the solitaire that comes with Windows? And, I just discovered, my iPod?

It's a good way to stay awake at the ER. Not too demanding, not noisy, and barely bright.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Have you heard any other names?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Dan Seals (who ran against Mark Kirk for the IL-10 House seat twice and lost both times, even though I voted for him twice), Jesse Jackson Jr., possibly Emil Jones, even though moving to DC would be a step down for a man as powerful in Springfield as he is.

Thanks, Kathy. Tammy Duckworth would be very cool.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Who's the mayor of Springfield? Quimby? Or maybe Chief Wiggum?
