Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The "wintry mix" never showed up yesterday. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. (Next week this time I'll be in Florida)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry the insurance company's being moronic, ita.

I'm wondering when wintry mix will make it to NC. Ideally after my Christmas driving's over.

I just got back from a doctor's appointment. My Zoloft's working great, but it's causing weight gain. If I can't get that under control through more exercise, we're gonna have to start tinkering with drug combos. [sigh] I should have known getting a magic AD bullet the first time out was too good to be true.

On the upside, my doctor OKed adding alcohol back to my routine. Just in time for prosecco season!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My TJ's has cases of the Zonin right now. And a cute guy who will carry it home for me, apparently.

I hope my TJs is similarly stocked and staffed.

Cass - I posted a second JTNP Snowglobe video - [link] Love how the wet rocks look like glazed cinnamon buns.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Just left the dept holiday party, it still has an hour to go and I don't think anyone will be a problem, so that is good.

That's gorgeous, lori!

Mom said they were expecting eight inches. She and a friend are going to go out shooting once it's not a whiteout. I hope to get some good pictures from her. Joshua Tree is gorgeous in the rain and snow.

I'm heading back out there tomorrow night through Monday. Will freeze our asses off, but it's supposed to be all clear. And boootiful!

Very much so. Enjoy! And stay warm. Man, it gets cold there.

I am missing the desert a lot right now. The stark beauty.

Maybe we might not head out tomorrow night. This just in, on another board: Joshua Tree National Park is now closed. I'm not kidding. No one will be allowed in until further notice. Hwy 247 is also closed. There's about 4-6" in town (JT), 9" in yucca Valley and it's still coming down. It is so pretty.
