I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am emailing scans of all the invoices I am having issues with to our head office and saying - fix this in the system - thanks. I think they hate me, but I have not had training and soem of these accounts are 2 months behind, so too bad.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I thought my commute last night was bad (45 minutes to go five miles), but it was nothing compared to the stories I'm hearing this morning. Two of my co-workers (twin sisters) drive together from 40 miles away, and it took them 5 1/2 hours to get home last night.

HMOG - and see, now I am all set with public transportation. Perspective, that is all I need.

Holy shit. 5 1/2 hours trapped in a car, even with a sister, would SUCK.

Also, in other holy shit news, I was reading Time Magazine last night. Emily Flake had a comic, in color, in Time! No way!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Watching the traffic reports on the news last night made me feel better about my decision not to leave my apartment yesterday.

"I can't. I am too sick. I will be better in three minutes."

He really wants a snooze button.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

He really wants a snooze button.

Oh, speaking of!! DH got the best holiday corporate gift ever today - a movie studio sent him CLOCKY!! Not that I've used an alarm clock since Dylan was born, but I'll make an exception for Clocky.

Clocky is the awesomest.

Cookie ish? It's all in the butter.

Because books.

Oh, man, I want a Clocky now.

Great link, Kat! I think that's why our chocolate chips turn out so differently when S. makes them compared to when I do. I think he lets the butter get way too soft.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Cookie ish? It's all in the butter.

Huh. That's the first time I've seen the word "butterfat" outside of a dairy farm context.

(Cows produce milk with varying percentages of butterfat. The higher the butterfat content, the better, as farmers get paid more for high butterfat milk.)
