That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I am remarkably UNinspired today.

Put me in this corner, too. I've been sick for 2 weeks after being sick exactly 1 month ago. I can't do this getting an upper resp. infection every month again this year. I just can't. I know I need to get used to the multitudinous kid germs, but I won't make it if I keep this up. One more week then winter break.

I adore the pink tree. It is way too cute for words.

Bagel and coffee:

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I adore the pink tree. It is way too cute for words.

I just saw the Pink Tree! I am in love.

Thanks! I still have some fine tuning to do, but I am ridiculously tickled by it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Although at one point I did say to a very close and supportive husband, "Dude, your breath sucks!" He went and bought a toothbrush from the vending machine. Labor #2 was too fast for making out.

Hee. This makes me think that your experience is common enough that they keep toothbrushes handy in that L&D.

Orgasms during childbirth?

I'm a size queen, but that's rediculous.

Maybe the women who have these "orgasms" just have really really REALLY crummy sex all the time?

Sparky! Over here! Look at me!

Ignore the horrible childbirth stories. I know three women, THREE WOMEN who had painless contractions. Two of them didn't even know they were in labor and barely made it to the hospital.

Now, birth didn't feel like a tickle-fight (much less an orgaasm) but it was pretty smooth having not had much labor in their labor.

THREE.

Coding and Sleeping

From a bystander's perspective, epidurals appear awesome. I remember going to the birthing class and talking about drug strategy, most women wanted to avoid drugs or take just enough Demoral to 'take the edge off', but one woman was a maternity nurse and just said epidural with no hesitation.

Much job-ma MFNLaw and much health-ma PixKristen. I sure hope the Treasury uses a bit of that $700B bailout to help GM and Chrysler. A lot of unemployed people is not going to help matters.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm so glad those factory workers in Chicago who had to occupy the shut plant got their benefits. Not as glad as if the company had stayed open, but still -- that's the kind of parachute that the working man/woman deserves.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh my. Is this the worst jewelry a man could wear?

Inches?

I'm guessing this is an old ad.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
