Hilariously, while talking about Blogojavich, the woman who did my nails was surprised that we have such political corruption and bribery here -- she thought it was just in Korea!

Jesse is me in regards to manicures. I always fuck them up within minutes of leaving the salon, which is why I almost never bother getting one.
In "lo, I am lame" news, I am sitting in the driveway in the car right now because I know I have shit to do as soon as I actually go inside. Avoidance much?
I do my own manicures. Imperfectly.
Mister Kitty is old. I mean, I know this. He's probably 16. But he's acting it more and more. Not unhappy or uncomfortable, just sleeping more and generally slowing down a lot in the past few months. I had to shake him to wake him up when I got home tonight. And yes, I was a little panicked until he blearily woke up all "buh?" I realize I probably won't have him much longer in a way I wasn't constantly conscious of daily before, and that's sobering.

Are there any nail salon bars?
Beauty Bar here in LA.
Eh, I don't need sympathy yet so much. More just to admit it outloud. Cause I haven't, really.
Totally see the BVM.
I get acrylics, so it's pretty hard for me to mess them up. Which is why I get acrylics. Pretty and tough.
Huh. That's all I got.
More just to admit it outloud. Cause I haven't, really.
I know this with Kittenish, too. But... I can't say it out loud, not really.
Not so much sympathy as commiseration. I've been there-- Max, my cat who predated my husband, made it to nineteen and that last year was rough, watching him slow down.
Aaaand now? He's trying to hump me. Some things never fail to reassure, no matter how ridic.
