He's the rep in Pasadena, my boss met with him awhile ago, Jesse. Don't know much about him, but I'm I hear the L&O CLANG CLANG everytime someone mentions his name at work.
Natter 62: The 62nd Natter
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ok. So my parents are coming to visit in December. We are all going to go to the wild animal park. If I buy a $129 membership, that would cover the cost of tickets ($34/adult) plus free tickets into zoo if we choose to do that the next day (it comes with 4 free guest passes). or I can get the $89 membership with 2 free guest passes - enough for the WA Park but not for the zoo which we aren't planning on going to yet).
Also do I order them now so we have everything or do I wait until we get there?
What to do?
Giant Kitten Headed Humanoid Cat Fight In Toyota Corolla Ad
Huh. Says it's an Australian ad. Clearly, I'm not making my quota of FTA television.
Where do they get Abby's clothes for NCIS? I want.
ita! I'm glad to see your font. How was the doc's appt? I've been thinking about you all evening.
Apropos of nothing, it's bad enough that rents here are $1200+, but the people on craigslist that want 1 1/2 to 2 months security deposit on top of that drive me batshit.
Well, apart from the part where my 8:30 was moved to 10:00 and I didn't find out until I got there...but not his fault. He got stranded on Catalina Island.
Anyroad, he agrees that I should go to the ER as much as I have been. Which is depressing. And he doubled the meds that are making my appetite rage out of control. Whoops.
Still no word on the ketamine. Insurance company is dragging its feet.
How are you and yours. Sorry I missed the shrimp boil. I crave about everything these days, and shrimp is usually at the top of the list. But if I could have come the food wouldn't have mattered.
PBS is doing a show on WWII aviation, and I've just realized my father could well have been involved in the ferry program that got bombers across the Atlantic to England. He was in the Air Corps, and he was stationed in New York and mentioned going to Canada. Damn me for not being aware enough to ask questions when he was alive!
So, I want to track down his military records. I've got his SSN, but I need his service number. I'm going to ask my sisters if they know of any documents that might have this information, but I'm also asking the Buffista Hivemind if they know of any way to find a service number back to World War II.

We're all holding up okay. Shrimp was shrimpy (not a big shrimp fan, but K loves them) and was a poor substitute for Killer Shrimp, which has closed, IMO. After, Polgara and I went to see Grace for a bit. It was a mellow evening.
I'm realizing that I need to spend more time reconnecting with people because being connected makes me feel happier.

I think this all the time. Although, the few times I did try to ask stuff, my Dad was not very forthcoming. Being a semi-pro basketball player, he managed to avoid much of the war by playing exhibition games (in SF of all places). Of course, that meant he went to Europe pretty late and did a lot of "clean-up" work in Germany. I'm thinking it wasn't pretty.

FYI, a bunch of service records were destroyed in a warehouse fire in the 70s. I couldn't get anything more than I already knew.
