Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Flirting With Forty is based on a Jane Porter novel and Jane wrote it after she got divorced, went to Hawaii and met a hot surfing instructor nine years her junior.

With whom she's now expecting a baby at age 44.

::sniff sniff::

That is the most beautiful story I have ever heard.

Our wings are not tired.

erika, I watched a movie called 25th Hour over the weekend. It wasn't very good, but Clay was in it! And guess what?? He said "sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit" about a thousand times! I never knew the actor brought it to The Wire ; thought it was the opposite.

Our wings are not tired.

Our (NY/NJ) governors seem so wholesome today!

Seriously, I haven't lost so much work time to political folly watching since Gov Spitzer. Bless them for the entertainment value, if not for having actual values.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

His biggest political enemy is probably Speaker of the House Madigan (who happens to be the Atty Gen Lisa Madigan's father) but his father-in-law is certainly not low on the list.

Javachik, you have a broken italic.

“Not dead yet!”

Charlie's fiancee, Carole Rome. [link]

Admittedly, most of their pictures together are photo ops, but I've yet to find a picture of them where they're actually making eye contact.

Yeah, I thought the "I haven't talked to him THIS YEAR" was pretty darn weird. How do you DO that? I mean, I guess "my aides talked to his aides"?

Ann, that's a ferret.

What a soap opera!

You thought I was joking when I spoke of entertainment?

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

Ha, javachik, I always expect him to do that.(Although his "Hell no," is a favorite, too) Although, lots of times he does wholesome commercials...it would be inappropriate. I saw Lance Reddick(Daniels) in a Cadillac commercial this morning.
