Hah! No. Her name is Beth. Or it was at the time. I don't think she goes by that any more. Or by "she", for that matter...

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

hip deep in pie

Though I'm probably only like, four degrees of separation from her. I mean, she and her partner live in Western Mass. I have slept with someone who lives in Western Mass. Also, I can connect to people who went to Mount Holyoke. Therefore, I've GOT to be connected to Rachel SOMEHOW....

HA! Well she said on Colbert that her mother was from Newfoundland, so we're probably cousins. But then Stephen called her a Newfie, which is a big no-no.

Although, since I don't get MSNBC, I only know of her, and seeing her on Colbert was the first time I've seen her.

The podcast of her show is available from MSNBC online, and you can also access separate clips from her show at the same site. If that doesn't work, the final hour of her Air America show is a simulcast from the tv show, and can probably be listened to at their website.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I know (and love) her from XM. I adore XM radio, seriously. Although I was happy to discover I liked her hair when I finally did see her on teevee.

In other cute political news, D. brought me home the Arizona 'Obama Wins Presidency' paper for me to keep, even though he didn't vote for him. Aww. Yay for agree-to-disagree in marriage!

That article mentions one of my favorite things she's done on her show, when she pulled out a trick-or-treat pumpkin full of candy and equated it to the Lehman Bros. collapse.

I love her from that show on Air America that she did with Chuck D from Public Enemy.
