Well, at least it isn't an oscar...I think that is the carnivorous fish my brother has. They go to the pet store to pick up its food: goldfish.
The sick, sick thing is that D is perfectly ok with watching the oscar eat them, but woe if you try to put down a maimed one. He's ok with the fish eating the other fish in all gorey detail, but heaven forfend a human takes part in the process. It makes sense, in a rule of nature sort of way....?

it is a betta and mac has named it Lugia, the Legendary Water Pokemon.
This was a giveaway and came with a temp plastic home and then a more elaborate glass and metal home. not sure where it is going to live, but it seems we have a new pet.

I would be conflicted about that being scheduled opposite the new Librarian sequel, but with the latter showing on TNT I feel confident I can catch any of the other 20 airings that'll be broadcast this week.
