Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

mac is out with his uncle. I thought they were to be back at 6:30, so I've had bonus alone time (in which I try to cram as many to dos as possible). I just got the following texts from his uncle:

we're heading home

with a fish

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I wear a 5 or 6 in women's shoes, so that's around a 3 or so in kids'. I just go directly to the kids' department when I need dress shoes -- much more likely to find something with a low heel and no leather.

oh flea, I wish. since their day involved a Holiday Fair and then a party by the Broadway Little Mermaid people, I am pretty sure it is going to be a baggie with a goldfish.

I guess the pet dying lesson will be sooner than I thought.

Oh, a quick reminder for anyone who's interested: tonight Lifetime is showing that How Heather Locklear Got Her Groove Back movie that looks to feature about 90 minutes of Robert Buckley with his shirt off.

I would be conflicted about that being scheduled opposite the new Librarian sequel, but with the latter showing on TNT I feel confident I can catch any of the other 20 airings that'll be broadcast this week.

IIRC it's called Flirting with Forty, which when I saw an ad made me go, "Forty? Heather Locklear is not flirting with 40. Fifty, maybe, and she looks it." She admits to 1961, and was on CHIPs in 1980.

Compassionately intolerant

I was just watching the puppies and being all drippy about how much they might miss each other and then they went all draculesque. Serious going for the jugulars. Yesh.
