I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

all the Christmas stuff from the storage room is now in the apartment. good lord but I have a lot. I need to get it all into plastic bins this year, too many boxes as it is now.

I've also re-listed mac's old bike and V-Smile on craigslist, and 2 freebie things on the neighborhood list. Fingers crossed the stuff will have takers/buyers this time.

I think we will go get a tree soon, and possibly a cheapass tree skirt and the aforementioned plastic bins.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I wanted to get one, but then I was afraid it would arrive and be like a plastic decoder ring that looked nifty in the magazine but breaks after a day in real life.

Oh, and Matt, my company had lunch catered yesterday. We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes...I'm thinking they got a good deal on an after thanksgiving sale. Of course, I only thought about that after I had lunch. eta: Bastards.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the most important way of protecting it (barring airlocking your babies and pets) is to make sure it doesn't eat any cables or fringes when you're not around--it'll tangle with the doohickies. But there are replacement doohickies in the package.

Certainly no sea monkey disappointment for me.

I was thinking of getting a tree, but I remembered I'm going home for Christmas.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

We just got a tree! Taz is quite taken aback.

This is the first tree we've had in this house!

What's the name of the device where an episode is filmed in limited locations (maybe just a room or two) and also maybe with limited cast?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This is the first tree we've had in this house!

Yay! We're getting ours this afternoon.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Well this is new. I was chopping onions and it didn't bother my eyes at all but instead has sent me into sneezing fits.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

What exactly was a "gentleman" in 17th century England? Not a noble, right? But you could be prosperous, and still "no gentleman", true?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

True, Typo Boy.
