So on Friday, I got a call from teh vet's wondering if I was still bringing in MK for boarding that night. Buh? Anwyay, got it supposedly straightened out (they had the pickup day right, not the dropoff.)

I call today to get him in for a glucose curve and...they have him as coming in for boarding tomorrow.

New office staff in the last month or so.

It'd be funnier if I weren't paranoid that the week I AM boarding him might disappear from the schedule.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen's school bus was just 20 minutes late. He was crying because I finally dragged him back into the house because it is COLD and I thought the bus wasn't coming. As soon as I got him and Liv back inside, the bus pulled up.

I KNOW! Is maddening. I should call to confirm his boarding for thanksgiving. Although it was one of the people who has been there longer who put that on the schedule.

Man, I just started feeling like i'm getting a cold. It better get here and get gone quick or never materialize. I am entertaining my man friend this weekend!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It has been nuts. I try to cut them some slack, but...I miss Shelley (I don't know if she's still there or not, I just haven't seen her and I've been in A LOT.)

Me too! She was always my favorite.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The codenames probably come in handy when you have a situation with more than one person with the same name It helps keep your Barbara Bushs straight for one. And it seems like every third guy in Washington is named "John".

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My coworker just told me a cute story -- she took her 15 year old daughter to a concert, and was sitting at the bar upstairs reading, when some guy came up to get a glass of wine, and they ended up chatting, and of course the guy turns out to be the lead singer of the daughter's favorite band! (All Time Low?) Of course, she didn't know it at the time, so doubly of course, the daughter was freaking out.

I just got the OK to take Inauguration Day off of work, so I can go to my friend's celebration breakfast and watch the festivities live--woohoo!
