Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I KNOW! Is maddening.

It has been nuts. I try to cut them some slack, but...I miss Shelley (I don't know if she's still there or not, I just haven't seen her and I've been in A LOT.)

Punishingly Intricate

I miss Shelley (I don't know if she's still there or not, I just haven't seen her and I've been in A LOT.)

Me too! She was always my favorite.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The codenames probably come in handy when you have a situation with more than one person with the same name It helps keep your Barbara Bushs straight for one. And it seems like every third guy in Washington is named "John".

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

GC, re your message in Press - if Israeli undergraduate college (university!) students can answer this too, I'm in.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My coworker just told me a cute story -- she took her 15 year old daughter to a concert, and was sitting at the bar upstairs reading, when some guy came up to get a glass of wine, and they ended up chatting, and of course the guy turns out to be the lead singer of the daughter's favorite band! (All Time Low?) Of course, she didn't know it at the time, so doubly of course, the daughter was freaking out.

I just got the OK to take Inauguration Day off of work, so I can go to my friend's celebration breakfast and watch the festivities live--woohoo!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Shir, that would be great! Thank you!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I feel kind of Bob-likes-carrots chiming in so late, but When Sophie Gets Angry is a much loved book in our house too. We read it when one of us is having a bad day. Another popular read is Grump, esp when I'm the one having the bad day (thank you Kat for the much loved book btw). I have also been known to start singing

"If you're gonna be a little grumpy today
Could you be a grump a little further away?
It's not that I don't love you 'cause you know I do
But sometimes I'm grumpy too"

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

No problem, GC. I sent it to another friend as well.

Just take into consideration that some of the questions there are very American education wise. As an example, the closest answer I'd choose for my uni in the first question is state college, only it's not really that...
