I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have to plan our department holiday outing and I am pretty sure that the party is going to be something I hate. I am pushing for a 2-5 thing, but I think the boss wants afterwork.

oh and our department does secret giftee stuff also that I have to organize. don't wanna.

Coding and Sleeping

Huh. This is the best case scenario: GM Viability Plan Cuts Saab, Pontiac, Saturn, Executive Pay

Selling Saab is pretty understandable. Saturn I get as well I don't think Saturn ever really panned out. Pontiac is a little harder to take, but maybe they figure there is too much overlap with Chevy's demographics.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I feel your pain. BigBoss just decided that she wants to throw a party at her house - two weeks from now. And then informed me that she'll need help.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The puppies have a doggie door!

OMG if it was at someone's house I would be miserable. As it is I am only having to call cheesy places and get quotes.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Our holiday party (normally drinks & food after work at a restaurant/club) has been downgraded to 2 hours of cocktails in the conference room. There'd just better be snacks.

hip deep in pie

We're having a potluck lunch. It's pretty painless.

We have a potluck. It's a madhouse (too small space for the size of our group.) Thank god a coworker scheduled an important meeting right after it. A convenient excuse to flee.

I just had to explain how we're whitewashing a bloodbath with statistics. It was kinda fun, but I may be punchy from telling people NO all day.

We were moving towards having our annual party at the new science museum (we always have the party in January), but she decided to pull this one this week. @@

At least she lives in my neighborhood, so I can drink and not have to worry about getting home.

I WISH we would do a potluck, but alas, no. All I want is for it to be during work hours, because all I really want is time off. No, that's not right - what I really want is a gift card for the amount I know we were budgetted per person.
