Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Does anyone here use FileMaker for client management software? Any opinions?
Yes. Very much a workhorse. Not as elegant as some DBs, but useful as long as you understand it. I'm on an ancient version, though, so they might have smoothed out some of the processes a bit.
Can you track projects with it, juliana?

I wonder how old it is. As it's drinking out of a kitten baby-bottle, it must be pretty young....
Huh. This is the best case scenario: GM Viability Plan Cuts Saab, Pontiac, Saturn, Executive Pay
I loved Filemaker-- I found it easy to understand, learn and build my own databases, whereas Access drives me crazy what with my inability to write code.

Yes, though I've not used it for that.
The thing you should know about filemaker, KR, is that you can configure it to do what you want, but you may have to configure it unless there is a template you like.
I have to plan our department holiday outing and I am pretty sure that the party is going to be something I hate. I am pushing for a 2-5 thing, but I think the boss wants afterwork.
oh and our department does secret giftee stuff also that I have to organize. don't wanna.

Selling Saab is pretty understandable. Saturn I get as well I don't think Saturn ever really panned out. Pontiac is a little harder to take, but maybe they figure there is too much overlap with Chevy's demographics.
