We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ah, winter in Chicago, where they don't bother the clear the sidewalks. I had my first wipeout this morning. My knee is very unhappy.

Yikes! Are you OK otherwise?

I think I need to buy some boots that have better traction on the ice than my current shoes. 'Cuz falling on the ice and breaking bones sucks.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Are you OK otherwise?

My dignity is bruised and so is my knee. The hand I fell on is also a little tetchy, but I should be fine.

I'm even wearing shoes with a ton of tread today! It's so unfair.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Did you guys see that the puppy's human is wearing inside pants with skulls on them?

There was discussion of this a few weeks back. They are Nick and Nora, and Target kind of sells them; right now they are out of stock online, but if you go to a Target store, you can maybe find a sleep t-shirt in that pattern on the clearance rack.

Not that I've noticed them or anything.

eta: Ugh, shrift. I'm glad you are mostly okay.

Random question for those familiar with Seattle weather:

"In (blank), it is often foggy in Seattle and it rains a lot."

Which season would you most likely put in the blank?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

E. all of the above?

The funny thing is, that still would work in the French sentence in question.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
