The puppies are much barkier lately.

Compassionately intolerant

I wish they'd move that cord from in front of the camera. It's harshing my puppy buzz.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

For fans of knitting and/or The Godfather: I'll write you a pattern you can't refuse. (A knitted horse's head.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And lo, the Baconites descended into the Valley of Green and met with the Broccolians where they saw the decadence

Bacon's got a lot of nerve calling broccoli decadent.

Though the brocolli Meryl Streep had in Defending Your Life was pretty lush.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Didn't the article say it was a random slashing incident when she was 5?

I've been on this board too long, because I can't read "random slashing incident" without it giving me pause.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just got the okay from my boss to go home a few hours early today, which is good considering I had a twelve-hour day yesterday. At least everything that had to get done before the end of the day got done.

When I got home, I watched my recording of Rachel Maddow and was startled but pleased to hear her mention her partner in passing at the end of the show while chatting with her pop culture guy. I think that might be the first time she's done so on TV.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Ah, winter in Chicago, where they don't bother the clear the sidewalks. I had my first wipeout this morning. My knee is very unhappy.
