Yup. Definitely don't want to go back to work. And furthermore, the SO has a cold, so I may be going back to work alone, which is way worse. However, he pulled the wagon for me when I was in crazy melty land, so fair's fair.
Still, I feel pleased overall with the break, which we needed for serious. Today I finished putting up the shelf in the woodshed. And I did this in backwards order, but I organized the cabinets, too. But now that the shelf's in, I'll be able to put stuff in the woodshed that is currently sitting in very nice cabinets in the house. Go storage space!
I pretty much got everything done I wanted to, including cooking, except for swapping out winter clothes. That rather requires open space on the bed, which D. is currently occupying.
I am wearing outside pants Right Now, I'll have you know, long after they were required. Harumph. I had to wear outside pants, because I lit the advent candle at church today. I didn't burn down the church or anything, so I guess it went well. I had an anxiety dream about it last night, wherein I and D. and the pastor all had to do a little dance number. Hee. So when it turned out all I had to do was read off a piece of paper, I was fine.
I realize I have inside pants that are actually different and separate than my pjs.
I realized the other day that I have inside pants for slounging and inside pants for cleaning.
Dinner tonight - last of the stuffing smothered in sausage, chicken breast, mushrooms and onions. Am now officially leftover free.
Hmm. I have inside pants that are not my pjs, but I also wear my pjs as inside pants sometimes. I don't have inside pants for cleaning. I wear outside pants for cleaning. And also for staining woodsheds, apparently. Two tasks that are not complementary, I might add.
Complementary. That's right, right?
Wait, the inside pants are the same, and you wear whatever shirt, right? Do you have inside shirts? Do you have whole coordinated inside outfits? That's the point, right, that I don't have to worry about it.
I have pjs that I wear mostly as inside pants.
I have yoga pants that are basicly inside pants -- but all that really means is that I don't wear them to work and that they are not tough enough for garden or home improvement work. I have pjs -- and the pants are true inside pants. I might go out to the car and get something left in it. I would not wear them to the gym or the neighborhood coffee shop.
If I am wearing anysort of inside pants at home -- I do not care what I am wearing on type. If they are inside pants going out -- I attempt to look neat.
Have not eaten many leftovers. just potatoes turned into potato pancakes and a giant everything turkey sandwich tonight. Plus cheesecake
Pjs are inside-the-apartment only pants. Yoga pants are inside-the-building pants. I'll wear those to the laundry room or mailboxes if necessary. I end up in jeans most of the time though, for easy indoor/outdoor transitions.
I probably should toss the rest of my lasagna from thursday, shouldn't I?
Today I finished painting the hallway, did two loads of laundry, made supper (bacon wrapped scallops, king crab legs, and rice), made dessert (triple chocolate cake), put away the laundry, and tidied up the kitchen.
Then I had a glass of wine and paid the rent.
Where's my gold star?
Next weekend I get started on Sam edits and put in a new closet system, because I have now run out of storage space.
The Sam edit thing is weighing heavy on my mind. I want it done before the new year, but have no idea how to weave in a new plot.
