Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Emeline!

I am back in NYC, after a nice trip, but dag, I have got to make plans with other people for over Christmas -- too much family time is too much.

Thanks! Looks like there were lots of good Thanksgivings around!

My cat was all riled up when I came in, and scratched me, which he never does, but then he puked and now he's OK. Goofy.

I expect feline madness chez Sara when I return.

Boo snow. I'm not looking forward to returning to the land of winter.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I took Miss Kitty out into the snow. She has never seen the white stuff before and at first she was ok with it and then it was a race to get back indoors.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ruby was upset. She thought we got a new pet.

Poor Ruby! But don't worry, she'll forgive you. One day.

I love that I don't find out until just now, when I check b.org, that the big rattle that shook the house was either a space shuttle or an earthquake. I wish I had known! Isaac would love the thought of the shuttle causing a sonic boom.

Punishingly Intricate

I expect feline madness chez Sara when I return.

I asked about MK when I dropped Swifty off on Wednesday and they said they'd put them so they were facing each other. ha! I was like "well, they've never met or anything but okay."

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

SailAweigh,

Aside from a number of short stories in various anthologies, Esther Friesner has had a few YA books published recently.
