The advantage of working from home: I'm at my pajamas, with music of my choice.
The disadvantage of working from home: I can't remember, or have any idea what the name of the new person in money dept. to email/call to about me not-getting-my-pay-slip, and our phone sheet doesn't say to which dept. which person belongs to (I know, that sentence would have made much more sense I I wasn't still sleeping and little bit resentful).
Skipping all the probably turkey-and-pie discussions, because according to Sean K "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Nov 30, 2004 2:00:17 pm PST, it's Emeline's birthday.
Can you believe she's already whole four years old? I know I can't, and yet.
Happy birthday, big beautiful girl! With lots of wishes for a great year for you, your mom and dad, and all your family!
awww...a few years ago tomorrow or the next day i was in la meeting her! in unrelated news....why is the airport oddly empty? i got here mad early expecting it to be crazed. and it was less crowded than many random weekdays.
It's cold enough for snow here, and supposed to precipitate later, but it'll probably warm up enough that we get freezing cold rain instead. Feh.
Hippo birdies, Emeline!
We've got a little bit of snow here, too.
I am so glad I don't have to go anywhere today.
It's up to 31 now, so I'm betting the snow doesn't happen by the time it could arrive.
I'm all kinds of ambitious this morning and thinking about rearranging my office entirely. I hope the impulse passes....
That's too much homework. Emmett's homework load is literally about four times as much as mine was growing up, and started about four grades earlier.
And also the academic expectations and testing regimens are about 10x greater now.
I'm online trying to figure out how to buy tickets for the 2010 Olympics. For 3 days of tickets + hotel = $2800 per person. Um? Yikes.
