And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Our Thanksgiving was full of yummy food, and I have half a pan of mom's artichoke dip in the fridge, therefore I WIN! (Sure, we've also got mashed potatoes, gravy, turkey, stuffing, and roasted yams in the fridge, but mom's artichoke dip is addictive.)

Pete and SA are playing Little Big Planet and cheerfully smack-talking at each other.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That is a brilliant idea re. the cooking oil, Cash.

Man, it's like it's the day after thanksgiving here. I am the only one of 6 in my immediate work group who's here.

I have to get dressed and head out to work in a few. Don't wanna.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've been at work for over an hour now.

“Not dead yet!”

I passed out a 10:45, woke up at 1:00, thought "oh hell no" went back to sleep and didn't wake up until 8:30.

Poor Lewis had to wake up at 5:00 so he could be at his store by 7:00-- beats last year when he had wake up at 4:00-- he's also a very good manager. He stopped by Hardee's on the way in to pick up fresh biscuits to bring in for everyone, plus he bought five twelve packs of sodas to keep on hand and mid-afternoon he's planning on ordering pizza for the staff.

I, on the other hand, am facing beseeching stars from the munchkins who desperately want, nay NEED, to go to Barnes and Noble.

Should I?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Took today off. We head to Darkover con this afternoon. Should be low-key.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The only reason I'm not being booked for murder as we speak is because I turned in early and got 9 hours of sleep before my empty-headed, possibly deaf neighbor decided that cackling loudly in the hallway outside my door at 6 on a holiday morning would be a good idea.

Woman, you owe your life to triptophan.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm at work today. The day after Thanksgiving is one of the few days in the year when I look forward to the commute. (Others -- the week between Christmas and New Year's, the week before Labor Day.) I-66 isn't backed up!

Plus, there's a good chance things will close early.
