Natter 62: The 62nd Natter
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
The only reason I'm not being booked for murder as we speak is because I turned in early and got 9 hours of sleep before my empty-headed, possibly deaf neighbor decided that cackling loudly in the hallway outside my door at 6 on a holiday morning would be a good idea.
Woman, you owe your life to triptophan.
I am noting to msbelle that i am checking in and haven't been ax-murdered by my long lost friend.
I deep in gronk-land.
I'm at work today. The day after Thanksgiving is one of the few days in the year when I look forward to the commute. (Others -- the week between Christmas and New Year's, the week before Labor Day.) I-66 isn't backed up!
Plus, there's a good chance things will close early.
Glad to hear from Sue.
Am also at work, although I just took a mid-morning break to go see a model train display with mac and the grandparents. Then mac got his picture taken with Wonder Woman and Flash.
I would like to crank through some work today, just not so sure it will happen.
Came to verbal blows with my dad last night and I called him out for literally huffing and stomping like a toddler, he looked ridic and honestly this was a long time coming. Old man needs some serious mirroring or his behavior.
I wasn't going to spend any money today (bah on Black Friday), but I have a hair appointment to get my roots done. However I shall start the day with a long walk in the woods with my sister and our dogs. Yay for four-day weekends!
I am so glad we took the weekend off. I had all these big plans for what I was going to do, but I'm totally going to laze around and do what I want to. It's been a long time coming, so I think I'm going to just enjoy it.
No Black Friday shopping, but I will probably vicariously surf a few sites.
Thanksgiving was pretty good.
Catching up on the news now, and just saw that five hostages were confirmed dead at the Chabad house in Mumbai.
I am at work, but am happy to report that T-Giving went very well. There were some Tense Words exchenged between my spouse and myself over whether it would be fun to experiment by putting an egg or two in the dressing. IT WOULDN'T. Food was all delicious, but the best part was probably clean up, as we were all in the kitchen singing along with the Beatles "She's So Heavy" at the top of our lungs. So fun.
We had a huge turkey, so now we get leftovers for a week or so!
Attention, Hec. Forgot to mention I have a SUPERSHORT pixie cut now. She used clippers. I've gone back to brown with some random blonde streaks, too.
Suh-weeet! Pictures, please.
We've had pie for breakfast. Later I'll take Emmett back to his mom, and Matilda and I will poke around and have fun so JZ can have a writing day.
I woke up insane and have already been to Nordstroms and Cost plus. Am now at hobee's and then home to nap.
On a different topic, Tom Scola are you a Star Trek fan?
