Wash: Captain, didn't you know kissin' girls makes you sleepy? Mal: Well sometimes I just can't help myself.

No shit. This place does go up and down with the economy with a frightening close pace. It's the worst I've seen it, which is kinda ironic, as the rest of the hood is actually doing better, getting more stable, and probably will remain so as a lot of the new business is respectable discount business, which thrives when the economy sucks. Just not this slice.

So who wants to visit me now???

I will, lisah, I will!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So who wants to visit me now???

I will say, I have never been shot while visiting you.

Always Anti-fascist!

You know I'd be down for it, notebook in hand. But I've got documented brain damage.

Oh, sara, I'm sorry.

I will say, I have never been shot while visiting you.

Jesse (&Kat), true. And luckily, my neighbors have refrained from being jackholes whenever I've had guests.... God.

Oh and Sullen Girl (totally unfair of me, but she always looks at me really balefully when I see her in the morning when I'm leaving, no matter how nice I am) even talked to me! And was nice. I think she must have some sort of developmental/social delay after talking to her, so I'm gonna have to lose the nickname. Especially if she is friendly from now on.

erika, you would've been out there in heaven with all the cops. SO MANY.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh my goodness Sara-- I am glad you and the cats and the immediate neighbors that you know are OK.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Damn, sarameg. Find house and move fast~ma!

I've got my Gund panda. It's all the panda I will ever need. Other than the panda cam, but I don't think the panda's reach is long enough to be any problem.

And have I said how excited I am for you about your trip?! SO COOL!!!

I still type the words and laugh like an idiot. I can't believe it.

If you know anyone or of anyone who would know anyone who'd be willing to housesit (!!! I have to get a house before the trip!) as in live in while I'm gone, I'd appreciate it. A week, I'm ok with just daily visits. Something that looks like 3, and I'll have at least 2 freaked out cats in a new place...I'm thinking I need a homeless, reliable college student or something living there and keeping an eye on things.

Yes, I am planning WAY ahead. I kinda need to.
