Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Puppy Cam wranglers: 'No, you can't have one'

Interview with the family behind the cam.

eta: This caption to a photo of the puppies amused me:

Who's a sleepy puppy? Is it you? Is it you? Yes you is a sweepy puppy!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Love this from the article:

Sure they still nap like babies and have yet to develop any sense of personal space (Oh, is that your head? I will step/sit/chew on it).

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

AWESOME puppycam news:

Thanks to the surprise hit of the Fall Internet season, Ustream.tv is outfitting each puppy’s new family with its own Doggie Cams so we can continue to watch their exploits as the mature.

AWESOME puppycam news:

Yeah, the link to the article mentioned that, but I skimmed the article and didn't see anything about that.

I think I'm a sweepy puppy....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think it's kind of amazing that there are still actual viral internet phenomena.

Because books.

I hope at least some of them use the cams. Need my puppies!

Yeah, the puppy cam people didn't tell anybody. A co-worker noticed the puppies on the owner's computer and asked for the ULR and it spread from there....

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Why do kids want to mess with cars? When I was probably 8 or 9 my friends and I one day decided to stand on opposite sides of a street and as a car approached suddenly act like we were pulling on opposite ends of a (completely imaginary) rope. We did cause a few people to slam on their brakes. We're lucky we didn't cause an accident.

Heh. Clever and wrong.

I'm getting the pig!

Yeah, the puppy cam people didn't tell anybody.

That's the really crazy part. Tons of people out there post stuff online just *begging* for their 15 seconds of fame, and it never happens.

The wonderful part, however, is that the owners are responsible and recommend that people research breeds AND (if applicable) the breeders, prior to deciding on a pet.
