Inara: I think she looks adorable. Mal: Yeah, but I never said it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

As a New Yorker, everyone being nice to me would freak me out way more than everyone looking the same.

Compassionately intolerant

I would have to be paid to be at a birth. seriously.

I have been paid and it was pretty cool, I must say. Since I'm a detail herder by nature, it was great to be able to make sure that everything was right in the universe so that the mom, dad and midwife could focus on the important bits.

Plus? Sweet mystery of life. Quite cool, really.

Toronto is a cool city. Much of it is underground. You never have to go outside, if you plan it right.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Now, Tom, it could be worse. It could be Minneapolis.

It could be Fargo!

Yeah! At least Minneapolis has the skyway system!!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

And, I have an electric scooping litter box,

Brand? I really need to get myself something like that, I absolutely hate scooping.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What Connie said. (Second post in second thread in a row saying that.) Toronto (and Montreal) know how to do winter better than US cities. You'll be fine.

Brand? I really need to get myself something like that, I absolutely hate scooping.

Yes please. My dad could totally use something like that.

I would have to be paid to be at a birth. seriously.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I don't think there is such a thing as a normal cat. At least, not in my experience....

tommyrot - Nov 19, 2008 1:25:45 pm PST #2381 of 10002
Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is it ethical to create a living woolly mammoth out of recovered DNA? Scientists think they'll be able to do it in 10-20 years. The technique should work on "any extinct creature that lived within the last 100,000 years as long as it got trapped in permafrost and had hair."

Huh. Suppose it's ethical to create a woolly mammoth. How about a Neanderthal?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Brand? I really need to get myself something like that, I absolutely hate scooping.

I use the Scoop Free. It uses crystal litter which my cat has no problems with. I put in a new litter cartridge once per month. It rocks. It's more expensive, but for me, totally worth the money. The cartridges are $12-15 each, depending on where you get them.

This is the one I have: [link]

Plus, I got the hood for wicked cheap (like $1).
