I like pancakes 'cause they're stackable. Ooo, and waffles 'cause you can put things in the little holes if you wanted to.

Coding and Sleeping

They had a great streetcar system when my dad was growing up there in the '30s.

You can still see the tracks in places.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I crane to look for trains every single day. Granted multiple lines stop at the platforms, but even when it is a one train platform I am not a stand still and just wait person - not unless I am reading.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You will not miss it pulling into the station.

If I'm going to work and a train is arriving in time for me to catch a 206 bus at Howard, then I wait at the south end of the station to leave a shorter walk to the bus. Otherwise, I wait at the North end so I can have a short walk to a Purple line train (if one it there). So I often end up watching for the train, checking my watch, and then walking to the other end of the platform.

I bet I confuse people.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That sounds plausible, Fred. Thanks!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's me you're talking about. But not the Lean Cuisine psuedomeals (from now on they should be called shmeals). My snack tend to be a a hard boiled egg with mustard and bacon salt. Or a packet of string cheese.

I hope I didn't come across as thinking there is anything wrong with those people, just that I am not one of them.

Your disdain is evident, Jesse. Don't try and play it off now.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

And remember, those kinds of emails are just to winnow the ones who will fall for a harmless-seeming query -- call it one in a thousand, but if you send out a million emails, you've got a likely pool to take it to the next level with.
