He is SUCH a geek. And I'm psyched he's a Mac guy.
Yes. This.
Since Lewis took the day off following his Day of Work from Hell, we went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch. I had a giant salad and then was only able to finish half my burger (which they actually cooked medium-rare-- OMG!). Brought the rest home, now I have to hide it from my carnivorous daughter.
ION, I think mac and I are going to go to JCPenney for family portraits this weekend. HEE!
Wear your matching sweaters!
I'm not sure what Obama would drink. But I doubt it's PBR.
Point. Call it Goose Island, then.
So the doesn't drink coffee and likes Moby Dick things are just to keep him for being the Mary-Sue Elect?
For me, Moby Dick just increases his Mary Sue-ness. The coffee is scary and implies that he might be *shudder* a morning person.
So last night I got woken up by people trying to wake up the guy whose apartment was flooding. (He wasn't in.) Eventually the cops and fire department came and broke his door down.
This morning I discovered that my apartment was flooded worse than I thought. When I walked on the carpet, my feet would
splash.
So I came to work (after sleeping in a bit) and borrowed my boss's car and wet-vac and vacuumed up about five gallons of water. (I'd say about a 5' x 10' area of floor was flooded.) Another guy had it much worse - his entire floor was flooded, and he had 2" of water in his closet.
Anyway, now I'm at work. Go me. After work I'll have to see if my electric violin suffered any water damage, and then go to my fiddle class.
Hypothetically, if one had a bunch of wet clothes, how long can they stay wet before mildew sets in? I won't (hypothetically) have time to do laundry tonight.
According to his book, Ginger, the morning person is Michelle.
So maybe he drinks a lot of coke or red bull.
I'd be more worried about mildew under the carpet. Do you have a de-humidifier?
tommy, so sorry for your flood! If it's chilly, your clothes could probably last overnight - if you hang them up to dry it'll help. Also, if you have a fan, it'll help dry things out.

Nope. Right now I have windows open. When it's cold out, it tends to get rather dry in the apartment. Hopefully that will dry things up quickly.
