Also came online to share an instance of gallant gallows humor. Our local Senior center is very musical, lots of amateur and ex-professional musicians on both staff and among clients. So that movie about the senior rock n' roll choir inspired a decision to do something similar here. One of the attendees has Parkinsons and early stage Alzheimers. He immediately volunteered to join, saying "I'm perfectly qualified for the Keith Richards role".

So, they let me go get some food. I feel like needing/wanting food or breaks, plus my diminished performance is going to make them not ask me back. Like I just don't have what it takes to play at this level.
