I am not having sex with Spike! But I'm starting to think that you might be.

Mostly lurking...

Though my "flowers and card" post might have seemed like I was wanting stuff, in reality, it's more like I hope he keeps it that simple. Our first V-day together, he gave me a video iPod. Although now that I think about it, last year he gave me Obama's books for V-day. He's good at this!

Oh, that's awesome! CBD isn't so good at gifts, which is fine. Actually, his mom said that he's been doing a lot better with gifts since I came along, so who knows...

Now tagless for your comfort.

I was making my grocery list when Owen came downstairs and announced that he was changing Olivia's poopy pull up. *sigh*

I'll give him an "A" for effort but a "D" for execution. It took me 15 minutes of searching Liv's room to find the contents of her pull up. (It was in the closet.)

So both the kids got impromptu, afternoon baths.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think there's a Lily (as in HIMYM) talking to her Marshall at one of the al fresco tables outside my office window. I just heard, "...then I walked through the mall... I didn't buy anything... and now I'm waiting for my food..."

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I am very tired and very hungry and they are not giving us meal breaks and I am light headed and woozy and I don't feel good, but I can't do anything because I like and want this job, and want to be asked back again (though I'm starting to have doubts that they will) but I'm tired and hungry and feeling very light headed and WTFF?

Thrive to spite them

So. Today was a busy day.

I bought a new washer and dryer to be installed on Monday. That was an ordeal (kind of), I went to Hhgregg and pushy salesman and so I told them that their sales tatics lost them a customer and I would never shop there again and left.

It probably wasn't all that bad but after first guessing that Best Buy lied to me about their (Best buy's) delivery charge (which Best buy hadn't and I told the guy), he then went into the "let me talk to my manager to see what I can do." Finally I asked to have a copy of the model numbers and prices so I could check somewhere else. "Where are you going, just tell me and I can tell you the price." I told him that, no , I was going to go myself and he pushed and I kept saying no.

Finally I told him that it felt uncomfortable and I was leaving. So I did. I ended up getting my washer and dryer at a locally owned place. But I checked out Lowe's and they weren't pushy.

Also I got a cat. Well she's not officially mine yet, I'm going to get her tomorrow and I'll have her for a week or so until I make sure that it's a right fit for us. I was looking for an affectionate fluffy lap cat and had thoughts of renaming any cat I got to some sort of fannish sci fiy name.

I found Rose -- [link] a fluffy, very affectionate lap cat just waiting to be someone's companion!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

t still firmly planted in the No V-Day Zone

I am like the Valentine's Scrooge. Bah humbug!

So, anyway, I have a resurgence of my GI pain cramp gas thing that medical science has been unable to work out the source of. Teppy, if you are around, were there any OTC remedies your doctor suggested when you had this type of thing a while back? I've taken some Gas-X but it hasn't had any effect (it never does in these situations but I live in hope!)

Meanwhile I am doubled/hunched over trying to get some reading for class done. And hoping I can get it together enough to go over for dinner next door tonight.

In conclusion: Bah. And feh.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Aww, Rose is bee-you-tee-full!

cereal: Aw, Rose!!! Have you considered getting Sadie too? (am a total bleeding heart for hard luck kitty stories)

Thrive to spite them

I'm thinking that if things work out for me and Rose I may adopt Sadie. I was thinking it might be nice to have two cats. But for right now I'm just taking Rose.

Also Sadie wasn't at the pet adoption fair so I didn't get a chance to see her.

Ugh. Sorry to hear that they are treating you so poorly with regards to the hours.

Sean, also, here is a link to California Labor Law regarding meal breaks. They are in violation and it looks like they owe you even more money.
