When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

she says they've been calling this guy "chazarei" but he's acting so evil lately they feel they need a stronger word.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OK, but why Yiddish? And if "chazarei" is the word I think it is, I've never heard it used as an insult to a person.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

omnis, it's nice to know someone that understands, but I'm so sorry you are in the same boat.

OK, somewhat random question for people: In talking to some other math grad students in my department, I've found out that at least three of the 15 or so grad students, including me, were suspected of having math disabilities as kids. So, question for other people: were you always good, academically, at whatever it is you ended up doing or being good at as an adult?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got a C in my Computer Science O Level, but I choose to ascribe that to me taking it extracurricularily.

Pix, I hope you and ND have a wonderfully romantic date night tonight. Flowers. Candles. Cooing. Laughing.

Hee. You've met ND, right? I mean, I love him to pieces and all, but romantic candlelit dinners and cooing aren't really his style.

We did have yummy sushi and are watching Dirty Jobs now, though, which works for me.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I have no math ability and never have had any. I suspect I have Dyscalculia.

I have, however, always had a vivid and visual imagination. I have Masters in Theatre Design and had fun with that for awhile. I enjoy working in Photoshop a lot.

“Not dead yet!”

I couldn't technically deconstruct a sentence if you paid me. I mean, I was a good Language Arts student and had good test scores, but get overly technical and I shut down. It takes away some of the beauty for me-- to do everything "right."

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Eh, I was hoping he'd read the post and at least pick up some flowers.

So I'm about 20 min into the movie Dungeons & Dragons. Please tell me it gets better.

Aw! You're always thinking of me.

So I'm about 20 min into the movie Dungeons & Dragons. Please tell me it gets better.

Dude, I know the answer to that question and I haven't even seen it.
