OK, but why Yiddish? And if "chazarei" is the word I think it is, I've never heard it used as an insult to a person.

OK, somewhat random question for people: In talking to some other math grad students in my department, I've found out that at least three of the 15 or so grad students, including me, were suspected of having math disabilities as kids. So, question for other people: were you always good, academically, at whatever it is you ended up doing or being good at as an adult?
