REALLY really don't. I'm taking Friday off and hoping to ditch most of Wednesday, so I really shouldn't be complaining about a 2 or 3 day work week....but dang, don't wanna.

I sign out of life for a few days for Christmas, and miss all sorts of bad news about Israel. I'm so sorry, Shir, and everybody else who is anywhere near the troubles.

My idea of signing out after Christmas is quite different. It involves hiding in the house for two days after Christmas and doing nothing but read and watch TV.

I have a similar secret: a mom with only dial-up (eek!) and very busy schedule of family.

But, I am home now. Yay! And exhausted. 11 hours in a car will do that to you, but I wanted to log on and check on people, esp. Shir and her sister.

I just drove around with my sister and saw STARS. Stars! They shine! There are many of them!

I'm going to give your avoiders the benefit of the doubt that it's because they don't know what to say, not that they would take their opinions (whatever they may be) out on you. Even the dullest of internet posters should know that a person is not a country. At least, even the dullest of internet posters that somebody like you would deign to talk to.
