I have an update on my aunt, the doctor's think she's got a bacterial infection of some kind so they have her on IV antibiotics and more fluids. She's still really tired. They ran another test and are waiting the results of that, no word if they are going ot release her today.

I just took my car to the dealer to get an oil change and have it checked out for the drive to Nashville, which was theoretically taking place first thing Tuesday, or possibly Monday if masochism set in. It needs an alignment, which is not unexpected after hitting the curb. It also needs a new power steering pump, which is $900. I can't really quibble with the diagnosis, in that Truck 1 of the same model lost it's power steering pump about about the same age (10), only I was driving at the time. You can drive without the power steering, but turning takes throwing your entire weight against the wheel. Considering that aside from the clutch (Atlanta driving) and brake pads, I haven't spent anything else on it except maintainance, I can hardly complain. I also have a spiffy new Frontier as a loaner, but the truck may not be ready until Tuesday, which screws up any thought of getting off early.
I have been hit with so many unexpected expenses this year that it feels like each one is a baseball bat pounding on my head. Right now I'm in the "just shoot me" stage of denial.

So, it appears she is a night owl too. We exchanged a flurry of notes last night until 1:30am. Last was "Dinner?" and then she went to bed I guess, for I have heard nothing to my response of "how does 6 sound?"

Very much so. The only difference I've seen is that some people who I think of as outspoken online might come across as more reserved IRL, and vice versa. Actually, I don't think of that so much as a difference in my perception of the person as it is finally getting the full picture of how they prefer to communicate in different circumstances.

You know, I think I might have a double standard here. If a guy suggests meeting up first I tend to get cold feet. Hmm. Maybe I need to rethink my online dating strategies.
