omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

forced to listen to two McCain supporters talking about handouts and how $250,000 is not a large income
I wonder how much they pay their hired help then? If $250k isn't large, than must be nice to be their driver/maid/whatever.

I wonder if they'd want to adopt a 37 year old who works in the arts?

“Not dead yet!”

That wouldn't necessarily preclude her from having sewn/made it before retiring, right? Or am I miscomprehending?

If I remember correctly from the book, she left without ever having actually met the Kennedys at all. And like I said, according to the HistoryWire article, the gown was made at Bergdorf's in NYC.

ChiKat, glad you get a 4 day. Here the student are off for a 4 day (which will give them time to recover from Homecoming). We have an inservice day on Monday and then have Tuesday off.

My stage manager called and organized a work call for Monday. She is an amazing kid. She's got everyone organized with assignments and sat with me today to verify everything that needs to be done so I can just supervise and do paperwork.

My BDD (baby dyke diver) is at either districts or state this weekend. She is ranked #4 going into the meet. (I know she is in the top 10 divers in the state) She's still worried about people finding out she's gay; however, she is also determined to take advantage of every opportunity she can. Can we get some diving ~ma for her?

Is she the one who designed Jackie's inaugural gown? I remember reading about how it was a huge deal that Jackie chose a "negro seamstress" to make her gown.

Actually, no, because Mrs. Parks retired in early 1961, on the eve of the Kennedy Inauguration.

No, I was thinking of Anne Lowe, who designed Jackie's wedding dress. Close, but no cigar for Vortex.

Wow, though, what a move for 1953, in lily-white Newport.

Still gives Vortex points, methinks.
