I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

So, people wanted pictures from yesterday. I don't remember which people, so I thought I'd start by sharing here. The problem? When I'm hosting, I'm terrible at remembering to take pictures. Mom took a bunch, and so did CBD's dad, so I expect I'll have more later. But, for now, my two boys after the big day: [link]

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Brenda, that video of Lucy made me grin a lot. It was a joy to see.

vw, love the pic of the man, the dog and the laptop.

Yeah, last year I was still very awake at midnight, so I thought "why not go to the outlet mall at midnight? Really, who will be there?" Oh how wrong I was. And what I didn't realize was that it was one of those outdoor outlet malls. RIDICULOUS.

Never again.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Worker dies at Long Island Wal-Mart after being trampled in Black Friday stampede

Jeez, that's horrible.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Egad, Tom. And I'm not sure whether I'm referring more to the events described in the article or to some of the commenters.

That is horrible. Stupid, fucking consumerism.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm with Fred-- as appalling as the story is, some of the comments are just absolutely mind boggling. I mean, what's going on, on LI lately? First I saw the story about those teenagers who beat the man to death, now the comments on this story-- it's disgusting.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

(I'm doing a stealth post.)

It's so good to see Lucy walking and doing doggy things.

Toto seems resigned to his role as a laptop desk.

Save yourselves. Stay away from the malls. Tom's story gives a whole new meaning to black Friday.

I had pie for breakfast,

My family got mad when I mocked Barry Manilow. Who are these people, anyway?

Have a great post-ritual-sacrifice day.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

::has no pie::

::must rectify::

I'm off to brave the comic shop. I have no fear of it, but it's close to the mall and lots of other stores and I'm worried about the craxy parking lot lunatics. I may stop at the grocery store on my home and get PIE!
