I hate people.
Had to go to the grocery store since Nate was out of peanut butter (AKA his Life Force). Grocery store was blessedly empty, but as I was strolling down one of the back aisles, I heard one employee talking to another in reference to one of their managers who was apparently in a meeting.
"Nah, he must still be in the meeting because I haven't seen his big ol' nappy head."
I gave that guy SUCH a stinkeye, he had the sense to say "Sorry ma'am," before he slunk off to the back room.
Of course, it may have helped that I was wearing this t-shirt:

Yeah, vortex, I know, and maybe I'm guilty of my own sense of prejudice, but I took offense at two white guys using it, especially since the guy they were talking about obviously wasn't around.

Regardless of the intent, it can't be a bad thing to have a reminder that you need to consider your potential audience if you're going to throw around phrases like that.
