Happy birthday, DJ!!!!
And, you're welcome, Illinois
On behalf of my entire state, I thank you.
I have today off. Yay! So, I slept in and then got up and started cooking for tomorrow. I have made pie and, for breakfast tomorrow, a grits casserole. I have friends coming in later today and will be making a pot of soup for supper.
am safe in FL. And the dude in the next stall is on speakerphone hold so we all can enjoy how valuable customers we are.
We've just been told that we can leave at 2p if we're done with work stuff, so I'll be able to hit the store in about an hour. Yay! And I'll get home before it gets dark. Double yay!
Tonight I'll bake another World's Easiest 2 Ingredient Pumpkin Cake and maybe some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.
I just saw this recipe posted elsewhere, and am thinking about trying it for Christmas this year: Autumn Trifle with Roasted Apples, Pears, and Pumpkin-Caramel Sauce.
World's Easiest 2 Ingredient Pumpkin Cake
Pre-Made Pumkpin Pie Filling and flour?
omnis, glad you made it safely. Ugh on the person with the icky phone behavior though.
Happy Birthday, Daisy Jane!
Pre-Made Pumkpin Pie Filling and flour?
This is my guess too, but the flour has to be self-rising.
Not a store-bought pie-shell?
Nah, that's for a 2-ingredient pumpkin
pie.
Nope. It's a box of spice cake mix and a 15oz can of pumpkin. Mix the two, dump into a 13x9 pan and bake at 350 for about 40 minutes. Easy! I made it last night and brought it in today for co-workers - it was gone in about an hour.
Sounds verra tasty! And now I'm off to my not-two-ingredients-but-still-not-hard pumpkin cake.
