Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

As a female, I would prefer the kick in the crotch.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Except they'd probably charge extra for the kick.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I really really really really really hate DFW parking.

I don't think David Foster Wallace will be doing any more parking, omnis.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I neglected to post wholehearted squee for Tom yesterday. WooHoo, Tom!

Birthday felicitations, DJ! The world gives thanks we have you!

Nicole, Illinois will also have occasion to be grateful to you, and you alone for their Blue Moon. Little do they know--but we do!

OA, you just brought back my favorite moment (aside from the premiere ep, when Dick (John Lithgow) asked the rest of his family, "Wait! Can anyone else lick their back? No? Okay, not just me then") of 3rd Rock from the Sun: Shatner, playing the Big Giant Head, was met by Dick at the airport. "But there was a frightening creature on the wing of the plane, and nobody would believe me!" Lithgow: YOU TOO?!!?

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

That was my favorite Third Rock moment, too!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

They've been rerunning Third Rock and I've been watching it and that ep was just on!!!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy birthday, DJ!!!!

And, you're welcome, Illinois

On behalf of my entire state, I thank you.

I have today off. Yay! So, I slept in and then got up and started cooking for tomorrow. I have made pie and, for breakfast tomorrow, a grits casserole. I have friends coming in later today and will be making a pot of soup for supper.

I'm getting the pig!

We've just been told that we can leave at 2p if we're done with work stuff, so I'll be able to hit the store in about an hour. Yay! And I'll get home before it gets dark. Double yay!

Tonight I'll bake another World's Easiest 2 Ingredient Pumpkin Cake and maybe some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just saw this recipe posted elsewhere, and am thinking about trying it for Christmas this year: Autumn Trifle with Roasted Apples, Pears, and Pumpkin-Caramel Sauce.
