Tom is SO the Man! In the best possible way! I'm still resentful at the universe for putting him through such a wringer of self-doubt before today, but I must say this is an impressive Hail Mary on the universe's part (and so ridiculously richly deserved on Tom's part). Well played, universe!

Not GG, but yes. A world of yes. 1/2 my students are teenagers, 1/2 are tweens. I like the teenagers better as a general rule, but some of the tweens are cute as can be.
Except for the 4 I kicked out of my class yesterday. They were decidedly not cute yesterday. 2 of them regained cuteness today, the other 2, NSM.

Also, thank you whoever sent the Motivation Fairy to me today. I have been needing her visit for quite some time now. Could I have her back, after my vacation next week? Just for a while? Cause one day is not enough to get everything done, I'm afraid...someone else can have her all next week...
