You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Yes our country is freaking huge. Probably the least convenient place you're going to visit is Kansas. Everything else is in bunches like New York-Boston-Philadelphia, Portland-Seattle, Chicago-Madison-Detroit-Minneapolis, San Diego-LA-San Francisco If you're visiting San Diego I highly recommend taking the light rail from San Diego to LA. Then maybe you can hook up with some LA peeps who are keen to visit 'ffistas in Frisco (btw they hate it when you call it that) because the drive from LA to San Francisco is one of the most beautiful we can offer.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

The content of my email box and your answers to the spreadsheet make me tear sometimes. You guys are really the bestest, nicest people, and I'm lucky to know you.

Also, thanks for the travelling tips.

Oh! Schedule permitting, we would totally be game to drive from LA to SF! We'd have to rent a car though. Drew and I would want to fly back.

And Shir, just the drive between LA and SF can take 8 or more hours, to give you a sense. If we take the coastal route, which is preferable, longer than that. When we did it, we stayed overnight halfway to break it up.

You may want to model your trip after the Nilly trip, during which we had F2Fs across the country to see her. I always say "Atlanta! Choose Atlanta!" but I am kind of an outlier in Buffistaland. However, Atlanta has the world's busiest airport, and we say around here that when you die, whether you're going to heaven or hell, you'll have to change planes in Atlanta.

A size reminder: 5.7 Israels would fit in the state of Georgia alone.

Seattle airport is super easy! And no more expensive than any other airport on the west coast coming from the east coast (on Southwest at least).

Happy travel planning, Shir!!! I recommend Baltimore, of course!

OK, added info to google drive. Hoping it saved...

Our wings are not tired

I'd definitely take SeaTac over LAX any day of the week.

I'm convinced that LAX was designed by Satan during a flare up of his IBS.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

It is saved, meara! lisa, would you like an invitation to the googledoc, to add Baltimore to it? Ginger, I'll definitely consult Nilly.

Question - what do you mean when you talk about pricey airports? Food and services prices, or something else?

Edited: also, thank you, Laga, but I don't think I'll go to Florida. I have family there, but we last been in touch with them in 1986. I don't even know if I should try and send a letter reminding them of my existence and asking them if they'd like me to visit them (due to potential family drama).
