Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Our wings are not tired.

Well, New Orleans bound we are, but no go on dinner. They can't increase the size of the table and are booked. They suggested calling tomorrow in case of a cancellation.

Sorry to miss the Commander's Palace, but I am quite confident that we will be able to find tasty dinner somewhere. Perhaps meet up with people not going to CP?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I loved taking the City of New Orleans train to Chicago.

That's a long earworm.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Jessica, I am working Saturday lunch and have a performance Sunday night, but I would love to see you!!!

Soooooo envious of NOLA peeps.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Looking at the map again, the hotel is about 90 minutes outside of the city, so a late brunch would be best!! Or I'm happy to hang out in a non-restaurant context as well. Whatever people are down for.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Brunch doesn't have to be in the city. Just sayin'.

On the road! In north FL tonight. So, are there Buffistas not going to Commander's Palace tomorrow? If so we can make a plan.

This typing while riding in car thing is not easy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think the plan was for all of us to go. Maybe we can meet for drinks or appetizers?

My plan for tomorrow is to leave Lafayette about 9:30 or 10 in hopes of missing rush hour, and then stop at middendorf 's for lunch, which should put me in NOLA by mid afternoon.

Tom or anyone else who will be in NOLA, do you have a power cord for an IPad, or any apple device that isn't an iPhone 5 with you? If so, can I borrow it? Mine is still in Galveston I'm afraid.

Because books.

Lee, ask the concierge at your hotel. I did it in Huntington Beach (I actually asked where an electronics store would be) and he pulled out a box of chargers and cords customers had left behind.

Ooh, good idea.

Though it does require getting dressed again

This doesn't seem to be that kind of hotel, but there is a target not to far away, so I may just swing by on my way out of town. You can never have too many charger, after all.
