Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sounds like fun, Suzi.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

That sounds like a car trip planned by my father. Or, you know, me on a day I'm feeling very restless. That is, awesome, but a little crazy.

With 2 drivers, driving-wise it's not too bad, but actually stopping and doing things, I'd say that will be very tight, especially for the LV to SF portion if you are talking about the coast. Maybe plan on a night just north of LA, then one around Santa Cruz?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

For something to do between LA & SF, might I suggest Hearst Castle [link]

He built it as a rest point between the two cities for his rich friends. Now it's a national landmark. I haven't been yet myself, but I hear it is lovely!

And hey, if your a baseball fan, what about Dodgers or Angels baseball in SoCal?

Hearst Castle is a great idea. A's ball is definitely on the schedule.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You make me feel like a slacker, Suzi. I'm arriving in Houston on a Sunday night and don't have to be in New Orleans until Friday night.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

When are you coming, Lee?

I get to Houston Sept 8th. I was going to email you and see if you a) could meet up, and b) if you had a hotel rec.

I still need to work out all of the rest of the details, including if anyone is joining me, but at least I know that much.

Okay, just wanted to check the dates because we are going to Europe in late July. But I should be in town when you arrive!

Heeeey, I am going to be in Houston the penultimate weekend of August (August 24-27)!
