Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I'm going to be in NYC this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. If anyone would like to meet up, let me know.

The only firm goal I have is to visit the Tenement Museum, but I haven't picked a day or bought tickets yet. Turns out my great-great-grandfather Solomon Wronker was the landlord of that building in 1906 and 1907.

Other than that, I'm just planning on wandering around seeing the sights and being a tourist. I'm thinking it might be fun to take the boat to Sandy Hook and back.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Just a reminder that Monica and I will be in San Francisco Sunday evening June 30th through Friday July 5th.

I was thinking maybe someone would be willing to host a dinner-party for us and the other Buffistas? (We could help out and contribute $.) P-C. are you doing anything interesting theatre-wise during that week? Anything else interesting going on during that week?

We have tentative plans to check out museums in SF on Tuesday the 2nd and visit the googleplex in Mountain View on Wednesday. Also, Monica's birthday is Thursday the 4th, but we don't have plans for that day yet.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh! Look at that! I am doing nothing interesting theater-wise that week, but I would like to see you guys.

Are any of those days good or bad for you?

I may be seeing a play on July 1, but otherwise, it's all pretty open. Except for my plan to binge on The West Wing on July 4.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

As I mentioned, tommy, I'll be getting back from my trip that Monday morning. So I should be around and available for poking around in the daytime with you two if you want.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hm, I assume my office is closed on the 4th. I should probably find that out. I could maybe get somewhere for dinner on the 3rd? Maybe brunch on the 4th, is that a thing? I don't like to travel on holidays because it tends to be a PITA, but maybe early in the day would be okay.

Not javachik

The Marin County Fair will be going on. Booths, Art, animals, and music. And food. Oh, and fireworks every night over the lagoon. It's north across the Golden Gate Bridge from SF about 15 miles. The Fair is on the grounds of the only public building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright that was actually built. [link]

Also in Marin: [link] Muir Woods. Angel Island: [link]

There are all sorts of groupons to do stuff in the area. Tip: 511.org for transportation and transit info. You are better off getting around by transit in SF IMHO.

"Come on, put your back into it. A Watcher scoffs at gravity."

Hi everyone! Monica here! Looking forward to seeing you some of you in a week and a half or so (yay!) I'm not sure when we'll be coming back from Mountain View on Wednesday night - I'll talk to my friends down there. It's amazing how quickly a week fills up! But I am pro-public transit, pro-nature, pro-saving a few dollars, pro quirky cultural things in general. :) I interned in the city a few years back, so I adore it, and generally know my way around.
