It is supposed to be on our coast; there was some discussion of Brooklyn or Baltimore. If it doesn't happen then I will have to have open house in Otter Lake this summer, or perhaps a Thanksgiving gathering in Pompano Beach. No one will want to come to Florida from about now until like late October.

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I'm thinking of making a trip down to see Weeki Wachee Springs next month, though my schedule is so unpredictable I won't be able to solidify a date until a few days beforehand.
That's north of Tampa, right? I was really close to there (Hudson) last week on business. Let me know when and I'll see if I can make an excuse to go see the practice again. It is about a 5 hour trip for us but we go that way at least a couple times a year to see our client there.
Will do, Laura. It's something like an hour north of Tampa, near Spring Hill. I'd love to see you (and Brendon) if it's possible, and a Pushing Daisies-style attraction is the perfect place to do so.
I was intrigued by Matt's description so I googled - now I wanna come see the mermaids too! Stoopid wide continent.
I am totally in for an East Coast F2F, whether it's Brooklyn or Baltimore or WeekiWachi or Laura's Backyard. Just sayin'. I miss actually seeing you guys.
Me too! I would organize in CT, but who wants to visit here? Although we do have multiple breweries, a moonshine distillery, and some cool museums.
I am willing to assist in planning a Brooklyn F2F, you know I love that crap :)
Where Buffistas gather so shall I.
Here is easier than Otter Lake because of the transportation thing, but it would have to be a winter gathering. When I get north I will be delighted to have people visit. I just never know my schedule until last minute. Like June or July is the current plan.
Does someone have a more current version of the hotel proposal we've used that they can send to Vortex and Tom? I'd love to see y'all, but money will be a big factor.
I think that Tom (or maybe Jessica) had done some prelim work in Brooklyn, so that may have already been submitted. I can be helpful after the "on the ground" stuff has been done, and for the setup since I can grab a train.
