And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

I think that Tom (or maybe Jessica) had done some prelim work in Brooklyn, so that may have already been submitted. I can be helpful after the "on the ground" stuff has been done, and for the setup since I can grab a train.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We could probably attend something within driving distance, but flying is probably outside of our budget this year.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I have a conference the second week of July, so I probably can't make an F2F a week before that.

Speaking of conferences, mine's in Helena, MT, July 9-13. Are there any Montana Buffistas?

Our wings are not tired

I fairly certain that no matter where it happens this year Pix and I won't be able to make the F2F work with schedules at this point.

I may be driving through Helena, MT, on July 13! My birthday is July 14, and my friend Katie and I are spending it under All The Stars. So I can mark that off my bucket list. Maybe we could manage to meet for lunch or something?

Unfortunately, the 13th part of my trip is fairly rudimentary. I'm sorry. I have a 6am flight out. Darn it. Our travel department hadn't sent me the specific itinerary times when I posted earlier. (6 am wouldn't have been my first choice.)

That sounds like a lovely birthday plan, though!

Oh, well. We will wave to each other in passing. An odd coincidence, though, that we'd both be passing through the same area at about the same time.

I'm going to be in New York for a late lunch thing on Thursday, and then staying at a friend's in Clinton Hill, heading back to Philly around noon Friday. Would love to see people if possible.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Monica (my ex who has posted here a few times) will be in Chicago visiting me the last week of May. We are having a little dinner party at Miriam's (in Wicker Park) and we'd like to invite any Chicagoistas who can make it.

Our schedule is still a little up in the air but we're thinking this could be some night between Memorial day (the 26th) and Thursday the 30th.

If anyone is interested in coming, let us know here what day or days are good for you.
