Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Yes, and definitely worth checking out. Xoco would be my recommendation - casual, street food focus. (The others are awesome too but more spendy or formal. Frontera Grill is the classic, and Topolobampo the upscale cousin.
Xoco's also good to stop by for a churro and hot chocolate if you can't fit in dinner. [link]
Xoco rocks! I still have my spoon from when Brenda and I ate there.
I'm hoping to get into Frontera Grill for lunch on Friday afternoon when it first opens. but am also intrigued by Xoco.
Aurelia-Thanks so much. Alas, she's allergic to cats.
Too bad. I could be wrong, but I think all the Chicagoland Buffistas have cats.

I really like Xoco. I had one of the noodle soups that was PHENOMENAL. And I saw Brenda there :)
Someone who may or may not be me might or might not be going to NOLA too see Nora, Tom, and smonster in two weeks.

Interesting. I think you're right. And, I didn't initially offer because I live so far out of Chicago.

WOOHOO!! And, I am jealous.
Pix, if you haven't found anything I could put the word out on FB - I can't promise anything, but several of my college classmates still live in Chicago.
