Xoco would be my recommendation - casual, street food focus. (The others are awesome too but more spendy or formal.
I really like Xoco. I had one of the noodle soups that was PHENOMENAL. And I saw Brenda there :)

Aimee and New Orleans seem MADE for each other.
And this talk of Chicago and places to eat reminded me of the time I was working at a conference there. A friend who'd lived in Chicago recommended a place near the hotel for really good pizza so I got a bunch of co-workers to go there telling them it had really good pizza. Not a one ordered pizza ... and the other food was mediocre.
