Xoco would be my recommendation - casual, street food focus. (The others are awesome too but more spendy or formal.
I really like Xoco. I had one of the noodle soups that was PHENOMENAL. And I saw Brenda there :)
'Serenity'
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Someone who may or may not be me might or might not be going to NOLA too see Nora, Tom, and smonster in two weeks.
Maybe.
WOOOHOO!!
I could be wrong, but I think all the Chicagoland Buffistas have cats
Interesting. I think you're right. And, I didn't initially offer because I live so far out of Chicago.

WOOHOO!! And, I am jealous.
Pix, if you haven't found anything I could put the word out on FB - I can't promise anything, but several of my college classmates still live in Chicago.
Yay, Aimee in New Orleans!
Dang it. My Chicago-area peoples have cats, too.
Nora and I are getting THE EMPRESS for our birthdays. I think what I'm trying to say is, nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah.
I foresee lots of dancing and shenanigans.
As we say here...
YEAH YOU RIGHT.
Aimee and New Orleans seem MADE for each other.
And this talk of Chicago and places to eat reminded me of the time I was working at a conference there. A friend who'd lived in Chicago recommended a place near the hotel for really good pizza so I got a bunch of co-workers to go there telling them it had really good pizza. Not a one ordered pizza ... and the other food was mediocre.
