Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Devon is my neighborhood. You're looking at Indian places? There are also Cuban and Ethiopian places further East and a fantastic Jamaican place further North. [link]

Having lived near Chicago as a college student, I think you almost have to go to Gino's East if you haven't been there. It's iconic Chicago deep dish pizza and I remember loving it. It's the only pizza place I've ever been to where there was a line to get in.
Take a sharpie or paint pen to Gino's East. Graffiti is encouraged.
I wouldn't be able to do Friday, but I could probably do Saturday. I have no recommendations, but would happy to tag along with those in the know and ooohh and aaahhhh. And eat, of course.

Any thoughts on preferred deep dish pizza?
I like Lou Malnati's. Gino's East gave me food poisoning.
I couldn't do Friday, but I could do Saturday late afternoon or evening. Would love to see y'all!
We ordered from Gino's East when we visited in March. We were very disappointed. I threw mine out. I blamed it on the holiday weekend, but really that is no excuse for the pie being tasteless.
I really liked Gino's East, both the thin crust and the deep dish. And the atmosphere.
