Moto looks amazing but I am pretty sure I am not going to get Tom to a Michelin star restaurant on this trip, especially one that is based on 16 courses of molecular gastronomy. It's all Coi's fault. Also mine, I blew my Michelin star gasket in Northern CA in 2009.

also, am I correct in assuming that you cannot just go and hang out at Aviary like a normal bar and you have to make a reservation for a cocktail tasting?
Your hotel isn't far from Alinea, but reservations are probably booked several months in advance.

Yeah, Alinea is not happening, either. See: French Laundry in 2009, not having a repeat of that level anytime soon.
Just want fun places with great food, good vibes, and delicious beers, this time out. However, if the NOLA-Chicago train ride works out, maybe we might come up more frequently!
